Qualifications

Nancy Kaye Kirsch is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Practioner and LPL Investment Advisor Representative. She also holds the Certified Divorce Financial Analyst, CDFA.  She has a Masters degree in Business Administration from New York University. She earned her CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification from the American College, and she holds licenses for life insurance, health insurance and annuities. Her CDFA license was issued from The Institute For Divorce Financial Analysts. Ms. Kaye has been trained in the Collaborative Divorce process and works with individual and/or couples in order to help navigate and come to workable solutions for  the dissolution of marital assets.  She has been trained in the understanding based model of mediation.

Ms. Kaye has taught Financial Planning Seminars in the Continuing Education programs at Brooklyn College, Queensborough Community College, New York Institute of Technology, Islip and Old Westbury Campuses, and Manhattan Borough Community College. She was a guest speaker on Retirement Planning at the World Council on Lung Health in Boston in 1990 and San Francisco in 1997, Ms. Kaye has been a panelist for Women in Business for a major insurance company.

Ms. Kaye has been a guest speaker on WGBB radio station about the importance of Divorce Financial Planning and has been quoted in Financial Advisor Magazine, May 2002, and interviewed by Eileen Alt Powell of Associated Press on Divorce Planning. The article appeared online and across the country in May 2002.

She was a guest speaker at the annual Financial Planners Association in November 2002 and again in October 2005. She has appeared as a featured speaker at the Financial Planning Association chapter meetings talking to 100 Certified Financial Planners on Divorce Planning.  In June of 2008, Ms. Kaye spoke to the Suffolk County Matrimonial Bar Association on the benefits of using a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst in the divorce process.  Ms. Kaye was recently placed on the roster for both neutral evaluation and mediation of matrimonial cases in Nassau County by theSupreme Court of the State of New York Matrimonial Center.  She was on the New York Association of Collaborative Professionals panel discussing Divorce Financial Issues in 2014.  In 2017, Nancy became a board member of NYACP and in 2019 became the Treasurer for the organization.

Ms. Kaye is a member of the Financial Planner's Association (www.fpanet.org),  The New York Association of Collaborative Professionals (www.collaborativelawny.com), Collaborative Divorce Resolutions of Long Island (www.cdrli.com).

Her clients range from individuals to families, sole practioners to larger businesses as well as public corporations. She has been in practice since 1987.

She is currently registered in the following states: New York, Georgia, Florida, Kansas, Massachusetts, Texas, New Jersey.
